I just thought about why open source software can't become the mainstream. What is your opinion that why free software is not so popular? How do you think about the open source idea? And what is the problem of it?
Yesterday I suddenly get a interesting idea, but it is not mature, and this idea is a little whimsy.

Open source -- No profits -- Won't continue inputting(time, money) -- Open source software won't continue consummating -- So many features are not complete -- Seldom people use it -- So can't become popular.

Yes, no profits is just the problem. But open source is a very good idea, ah, why sharing good things will have problem? Yesterday I get to know, software just like sex, it is a good thing, and it is beneficial to both of you, such as a software that have many users is a good thing to both the developers and the users, but why sex is not shared in wide range? This is just the reason that why software can't be shared widely. Sex have taboo, this is because at the back of sex, there are input of emotion, time, money and so on, while the maintenance and development of software is the same as sex, Linus says that software just like sex, the free one is the best, it is right, but free sex means marriage, therefore, I think, free software should build a system that like marriage in the society, the free software developers can get return in this system, and so can share software better. But this system will surely be more complex than marriage, because marriage only involve two people, while software involve many people. I haven't thought about how to build a free software marriage system in detail, I think there should be a GNU Marriage License, and build a GNU ID system, developers and users get registered in it, and verify your level by your contribution, the high level people can get more sharing, contribution means donate money or exert yourself, the free software lovers do development and maintenance, normal users should donate some money if they only want to use software nicely. These money can be submitted to free software foundation in unification, only contributors can use those software which released under GNU Marriage License legally, the foundation then build a free software prize system in wide range to these software developers.
Hehe, just a idea, to implement it will get many detail problems, do you have any opinion on this idea?

Haw-haw, free software movement is just sex liberate movement, while sharing software and sharing sex respectively, but marriage is still necessary :) If free software foundation can begin to build this GNU Marriage System, extend the marriage institution to free software system, it would be very nice, software get shared in this system. Free software and commercial software merge together generate Marriage software :)

From the similarity of software and sex, we can see that buy commercial software is prostitution :) So Stallman says that commercial software is immoral is right :)

The difficulty of sharing: sharing sex < sharing software < sharing hardware < sharing everything. So we can get to know the beginning sign of the achievement of communism will be sex sharing, now marriage is still very popular, so this still need the society's development and advancement :) Of course, some people will think that marriage will never disappear. The dangerous of sharing: force sharing. Force sharing sex is rape, if a government force sharing everything, it will become a totalitarian state that rape people's will, this is surely not good, because people should have the freedom of not sharing.

我就是想为什么开源软件没法成为主流。你觉得自由软件为什么没流行起来？你觉得开源的理念怎么样？又有什么问题？
我昨天突然想到了一个有趣的观点，不过还不成熟，而且这个观点有些怪异哦。

开源－－没有利润－－不会继续投入（时间，金钱）－－开源的软件就不会继续完善－－所以很多功能不全－－用的人也就少－－所以流行不起来。

嗯，就是没有利润的问题。可开源是很好的想法啊，把好东西共享为什么会有问题呢，昨天我就想到，软件就像性一样，也是好的东西，对双方都有好处，比如说软件用的人多了对开发者和用户都是好事，可是性为什么没有广泛地共享呢？这也就是软件不能广泛地共享的原因了。性是有禁忌的，这是因为，性的背后还得有感情，时间，金钱等的投入，而软件的维护和开发也是这样，Linus说软件就像性一样，免费的最好，这是对的，可免费的性也就意味着婚姻，因此，我想，自由软件应该建立一个像社会里的婚姻这样的系统，这样在这个系统里自由软件开发者能够获得回报，才能够更好地共享软件。不过这个系统肯定会比婚姻复杂了，因为婚姻只是两个人，而软件就牵涉到很多人。具体怎样建立一个自由软件婚姻系统我还没想好，我想应该可以有一个GNU Marriage License，建立一个GNU ID系统，开发者和用户都在上面注册，根据你的贡献来确定等级，等级高才能获得更多的共享，贡献就是要出钱或者出力，自由软件爱好者就是在出力，一般的用户得出些钱，如果他们只是想很好地使用软件的话。这些钱可以统一交到自由软件基金会，有了贡献才可以合法地使用那些以GNU Marriage License发布的软件，基金会再设立一个广泛的自由软件奖励系统给这些软件开发者。
呵呵，一个想法，要实现就有很多细节问题了，你对这个想法有什么看法吗?

哈哈，自由软件运动就是性解放运动，分别是共享软件和共享性，但婚姻还是有必要的：）如果自由软件基金会能开始建立这样的一个GNU Marriage System，把婚姻制度推广到自由软件系统里就好了，软件就在这个系统里得到共享。自由软件和商业软件融合产生婚姻软件 ：）

从软件和性的相似，我们可以看到买商业软件就是嫖娼 ：）所以Stallman说商业软件不道德的说法是正确的 ：）

共享的难度：性的共享 < 软件的共享 < 硬件的共享 < 所有事物的共享。所以我们可以从中看到共产主义的实现将是以性的共享为起始标志的，现在婚姻还是很流行，看来还有待社会的发展进步：）当然，也有人认为婚姻根本不会消失。 关于共享的危险是：强制共享。强制性的共享就是强奸，政府如果强制共享一切就会形成一个强奸民意的极权政府，这当然不好了，因为人们应该也有不进行共享的自由。

work as "open source". That is the slogan of a philosophy I do not
agree with. The goals and values of open source are very different
from the goals and values of free software--they are completely
different ways of looking at the issues.

It is a misunderstanding to oppose free software and "commercial"

I don't think prostitution is immoral, either. The issue
of ethics that I am concerned with is a different kind of issue.

如果既不出钱也不出力，却可以完全自由地使用别人花费大量时间和精力开发出来的软件，这样不就是不劳而获了吗？虽然在一个理想的社会里（无政府主义？）人们有不劳而获的自由，可目前的现实社会还是没法做到这点啊。不劳而获导致了很多项目变成了劳而无获，虽然有Stallman那样的信仰的人可以坚持几十年，有自由爱好的人可以坚持几年，有兴趣的人可以坚持几个月，可大多数人都没有这样的条件，他们有的只是要吃饭这样的需求罢了，这种人并不理解软件的自由，源码对他们来说没有意义，给他们自由又有什么用呢，就像把家畜放到森林，给他们自由只会让他们饿死。一个软件要持续地发展下去就得找到一个获得回报的途径，现在大多数自由软件就是这点上有缺陷，所以开发自由软件的人不多啊，这点还是需要大家慢慢地进行探索吧。
另外一点就是，完全自由地共享软件就像完全自由地共享性一样，目前是不太现实的，虽然可以是今后人类社会的发展方向，值得我们大家努力。这点女性更加容易明白，难怪开发自由软件的女性少之又少 ：）
